The Media & EC segment provides media-related services, such as media and advertising, search, marketing solutions, vertical, content, and stamps; commerce-related services such as shopping services; reuse services; and O2O services; AI, healthcare, and other services. The Financial segment provides mobile payments and other electronic payment services; payment processing services including credit cards, electronic money, and QR codes; online securities trading service for smartphones. In addition, it offers planning and production of digital media and digital content. The company was formerly known as SoftBank Mobile Corp. and changed its name to SoftBank Corp. in May 2015.
